The Missouri State Fair kicks off in Sedalia on Thursday, Aug. 7. If you're within driving distance, consider taking time out for a “daycation” at the Fair.

This year's Fair is busting at the seams with free entertainment, like the Cannon Lady and the Amazing Anastasini Circus. And don't forget all the livestock, horse shows and exhibits of everything from a 500 pound pumpkin to Grandma's prize quilt and the latest decked-out RV.

This is Callis & Associates' 13th Fair to promote, and we consider it a lucky number.
