Callis & Associates President Cliff Callis recently participated in Coal-Gen 2008, a trade show focused on coal-fueled power generation, with agency client ProEnergy Services.

Coal-Gen, produced by PennWell Publishing Corp., was held Aug. 13-15 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville. The show drew more than 4,000 attendees and 350 exhibitors.

“Coal continues to be the nation's primary source of electrical power generation, and this show was a great opportunity for ProEnergy to make some very important industry contacts,” Callis said. “They also were able to learn more about changing regulations regarding coal emissions, which is a very hot topic right now.”
