Callis & Associates Vice President, Jim Shoemaker, recently attended an invitation-only, marketing communications symposium hosted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). The two-day event was held in Dallas for NSSF voting members composed of industry marketing professionals and marketing agencies that specialize in the outdoor sports market. All came together to exchange ideas, discuss industry related issues, and learn how to capitalize on the foundation's research and initiatives.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is a non-profit trade association for the shooting, hunting and outdoor industry. The organization owns and sponsors the annual SHOT Show, the industry's largest international trade show. The NSSF works on behalf of its nearly 6,000 industry members to promote, protect and preserve the traditions of shooting and hunting in America. Members of the organization include more than 5,000 manufacturers, distributors, retailers, sportsman's organizations, publishers and media within the firearms and shooting sports industry.
